I joined this run because of the medal. I made my husband run 10km as the medal was bigger than
that for the 4.5km.
If you are staying in
KL, driving all the way to Setia Alam can be a pain just to collect the running
kit. In future, I don’t think I would like to travel so far just to pick it up.
We arrived at 6.15am and
went into the BMW showroom to view the cars and take pictures. There were simple
warm-up exercises on stage but we didn’t really join.

The organiser flagged off
the 10km sharp at 6.45am. After they were flagged off, the 2nd session
of warm-up exercises was conducted on stage for the 4.5km runners, and
thereafter we were flagged off sharp at 7.00am. We ran past a Chinese school and
housing area on quiet roads. There was 1 water station for the 4.5km
runners after running for 3km where they served water and isotonic drink.
Upon arrival at the
finishing line, we were give a bun and medal. We did not wait for the lucky
draw to start as there were too many people waiting for it. Overall, there was
nothing fun or exciting in this run. But if you are a fan of BMW, then it’s
worth going.

There were also food trucks selling food and drinks.
