Blues and Bees Restaurant – 7 October 2016

Entrance to the restaurant
This was my 2nd visit to Blues and Bees and sadly, on both occasions, it was not crowded and the waiters and waitresses were trying their best to bring in customers. Something that you don’t expect on a Friday and Saturday night at Bukit Bintang! We chose this restaurant as it was nearby Parkroyal Hotel.

This is an American restaurant, serving steaks, seafood, burgers, salads, side dishes (onion rings, nachos, fries, calamari rings). It is also a pork-free place. You can never miss this place as the interior of the restaurant is nicely done up. The chairs and tables form a car from the 60s!! Imagine that you are going back to the era of the “Happy Days” sitcom. That was how I felt when dining here.

Nice car (table and chairs)

These were the food that we ordered:

Nachos - RM16.90. Nothing to shout about. It was below average for me.

Prawn Caesar Salad - RM29.90. Looks and taste dry with lots of Parmesan cheese.
New York Strip Steak- RM49.90. The steak was quite dry. It tasted like it was already pre-cooked. My husband asked for rare and some parts were well done.
Onion Rings - RM7.90
The service in this restaurant is fast (perhaps as there were not many customers). The price is reasonable, inclusive of food and drinks (non-alcoholic), approximately RM50 per person (including tax).

You can easily park your car at Lot 10 or you can use the monorail and stop at Bukit Bintang.
