Long Term Car Park for staff and visitors for KLIA 1 and KLIA 2

Parking at KLIA 1 and KLIA 2 can be expensive. But if you know where to find the long term car park, it is definitely cheaper than parking at Block A at KLIA 1 and KLIA 2.

If you want to park your car at the KLIA 1 and KLIA 2 long term, you may want to consider the long term parking nearby both airports. Once you park your car, there is a free shuttle bus to bring you to either of the airports.

After the Mitsui Outlet Park (along the KLIA Expressway), there is a signboard to let you know that you are approaching the long term car park.

Watch out for this sign board after you drive passed the Mitsui Outlet Park
This will be the last sign board you see before turning to your left
This is the turning left junction. There is no sign board here to tell you that you need to turn left to the long term parking
A lot of people will miss that turning left as there are no proper sign boards. If you do miss the left turning, not to worry. Take the next left junction, up the ramp and you will be driving the back way to the car park. Once you see the car park on the left, continue to turn left until you see the sign board below:

Go into the entrance, as shown in the picture below:

Main entrance for staff and visitors. There is no sign to say which lane is for staff and which is for the visitors. You need to read the small sign board stuck to the orange cone.

Once you take your ticket, you will see the following sign boards:

The covered parking bays:

In fact, you can actually park your car at the staff parking, as there is nobody there to monitor where you park. Just park with the rest of the cars. Once you park, lock your car and head to the bus stop on the main road and wait for the shuttle bus to arrive, as shown in the picture below:

Wait here for the shuttle bus
This is the shuttle bus. Always remember to check with the driver first where he's heading to before boarding the shuttle bus. Certain bus may just be heading to KLIA 2 (as previously encountered by me)

The payment machine

These are the rates at the long term parking. I believe it's cheaper than parking in KLIA 1 or KLIA 2 itself

If you have problem with the payment machine, the Customer Service is just beside the payment machine

In terms of security, there is no guard around. Also, if you don't have a parking ticket, you can't get out. Park at your own risk!

Note that at RM32 per day at the LTCP it is cheaper than KLIA2 (RM46 per day) for our normal 3 or 4 day stays, but note that KLIA2 is currently having a promotion that reduces the daily cost on the 4th day onward to just RM20 per day.

So if you're staying more than a few days (i.e. long term), it is better to park in KLIA2 short term car park!
